How do I update gift attributes in a donation part? I added them in the Raiser's Edge, but they aren't showing up in Net.

I see gift attributes within the Net part. However in Administration General under Attributes, I do not see gifts (just constituent, participant, education and interests). I've added two gift attributes in RE (Configuration-->Attributes-->Gift), but I do not see a way within Net to include my attributes in the gift attributes I added on the Donation Form.

    Gift Attributes are not ebabled under Administration > Sites and Settings. Once the attribute is added to the Raiser's Edge, and is marked as Active, you will need to go to Administration > Code Tables in order to click the Refresh Code Tables button. This will bring the attribute over into NetCommunity, and add it into the Donation Form part itself.



    To enable the attribute, simply edit the Donation Form, and scroll down to the Attributes section. Your attribute should appear at the bottom of the list, and you can select the checkbox to include it on the form.

  • Thanks for the quick reply. I have refreshed the code tables (six times now over the past hour), but I still do not see the attributes I added within the Donation Form. I even tried moving the attributes up within Raiser's Edge as there are a number of attributes showing in RE and not showing within Net. But I still cannot see the attributes I added. What am I missing???
  • I'm wondering if this code table doesn't show in Net...is that possible. When I go to Code Tables I only see Event Calendar and Tagging. Is there another step I need to do?

    Have you navigated away from the Attribute screen in Raiser's Edge? This will initiate the save of the added attribute. If you are still not seeing the attribute, please chat or submit a case via case central, so that we can help trouble shoot.
