Merging Addressee and Salutation

There is only one addressee and salutation type available for merge fields when configuring Online Express. Since Raiser’s Edge mail and export has the ability to choose between 2 different addressee and salutation types, we have ours setup to use the social then primary. Before I begin developing a new addressee and salutation code for addressing emails in Online Express, I wanted to check to see if this is on Blackbaud's radar for updating or if anyone else overcame the issue of choosing between addressee and salutation types when merging addressed emails.

Thanks for your question. Today, Online Express supports a single addressee and salutation as merge fields.



As you might imagine, supporting more than one would involve some kind of built in automated logic.
