Banner image size in e-newsletters

We are getting a banner image designed for the top of all our e-newsletters. Please could you tell me what the dimensions should be?

Hi Melanie, thanks for posting! Online Express emails are a max width of 600px, so that should be a good size to use. If you want to add padding around the image, subtract the amount on each side. For example, if you add 10px of padding, the image would be 580px wide (10 on each side).



That said, Online Express has a built in feature for images called "best fit". This feature will automatically size the image so that it will best fit inside whatever layout element the image is placed into. I would suggest the 600px wide banner image size, this way it can shrink down slightly if you use any padding and you don't have to worry about creating multiple sized images.
