Address Changes Overwriting

Is there a way to accept address changes and have the source of Online Express be added as part of the process, as well as the Date From added. We are losing our tracking system of how and when address information is changed.

Hi Tina. How were you hoping to track the source of the address? I see that RE has an "Info source" field on an address - is this what you are referring too?

Yes, 'Info Source' is used to track how we got the address. It is very helpful, especially if mail it returned or someone questions an address.

You can add an Info source to all new constituents. You can do this by visiting the Account menu, then Integration options. From there visit "Constituents" and create a new default set to include Info source for address, and any other information you would like to add to all new records.



If you would also like to add the info source for new addresses on existing, linked constituents, you can add this data in the RE batch. I'm not an RE batch expert by any means, but it looks like you can add it from the "Constituent" menu, then "Define Constituent Fields".
