Keeping linked addresses from updating during On-Line Express process

We use On-Line Express for our on-line donations. During the process of linking donations to constituent records, if On-Line Express finds a match, it will auto-link the donation to the constituent and if there are any changes in the non-gift info, On-Line Express will automatically make those changes in the constituent record. Because we are integrated with EE, it also automatically makes the same changes in other linked addresses, which we don't want to have happen. Has anyone run into this and is there any way to prevent it from updating linked addresses?
