Image alt-text: optional text box on draft message in Email Marketing

Email - on the edit content Image alt-text: optional I have entered text and the text does come up when you hover over the image but when I send the TEST email the https:// (very long) path comes up instead of the text I entered...how do I fix this?

    Hi Sue, sorry for the delay. The team is out of the office for the holidays, but before I check with them I have a few questions about the problem when you get a moment.



    -What email client are you using to check the test message? For example, Outlook 2013, gmail, etc.



    -Have you tried a any different email clients for the hover text? Does it work correctly in some but not others?

    looked at the email on yahoo and only see the hand cursor

    Hi Sue. The team was able to test and verify that the hover text is working properly on our end. We are able to see it correctly in Yahoo and Outlook.



    Web browser are you using, and what version?
  • This was viewed in outlook but i get the same when the email is opened in yahoo.

    Right - when you view the message in yahoo, what web browser are you using? Internet Explorer version 11, for example.



    This behavior could be related to your internal firewall at your organization. We are not able to duplicate the result in our testing.
  • using Explorer 9 but yes, it probably is the firewall....thanks for your help
