Closing an event registration

Is there another way to close a registration for an event without having removing the link to that registration page. We recently adopted the Event Module and we use Online Express for registration.

Hi Kimberly. One option is to limit the online capacity.



On the "Extras" tab of the event setup, you can limit the online capacity. Once the capacity has been reached, you can customize the message that potential registrants will see.

If I want registration to close for an event during the weekend when I'm not working, how do I do that? There should be a simple date to put in. “Registration has close for this event.” I can't find anything like that. I've been “deactivating” my events, even though the event hasn't taken place yet….

There is no option on the Online Express registration form to close event at date/time specified.

If you got in-house webdev, you can either use server side script or client side javascript to have date/time limit placed on the form so it show/don't show on date/time condition.

@Alison Enns - Alternative option: Web View's NXT event forms have the option to “turn-off” a registration form based on a specific date/time.
