Can Event Registrations be Processed without creating gift records?

We do many events that do not involve a gift...events that are not of the "gala" or "dinner" variety. We charge a "break-even" amount, and do not want a gift record to be created. These are community builders rather than fund raisers...for example, a father-son golf tournament.



Is there a way to process these registrants in a way that does not create a gift record?

Hi Joe. Event registrations do create a gift record. There isn't a way to avoid creating a gift record. We will keep this feedback in mind as we continue to evaluate the future direction of transaction processing.
