Include comments in export grid of donations

when I export selected gifts from the donations form, can I include a column for comments?

The Comments field is currently not available for Export. I looked into this, and our team is going to add this as a feature. It will become available in the June 17th update of Online Express.



The only workaround I can suggest for now, is to process your donation transactions into RE, then use RE's Query module to query for Gifts with comments. Your Gift Query would use the Criteria: Attributes > Category equals "Online Express Comments". This will return Gifts that came from Online Express, where the donor included comments. On the Output tab of the Query, you can include the field: Attributes > Specific Attributes > Online Express Comments > Description, to see the Comments text.

I'm sorry for not correcting myself earlier. Some time after my previous post, we decided not to release an update on June 17th as some new features were still in-progress. You will see the comments field in the next Online Express update, which is on July 1st.
