Bidpal with Raiser's Edge Integration

Hello.

We just changed our auction software to Bidpal and we need to know how to process the gifts that will come in from our event (golf tournament, auction event and so on).

Any advice or feedback would be great!

I've always had to export the data from BidPal and then use complex queries in Microsoft Access to get the data into a structure that I can then import into RE.

We have also started using BidPal and I noticed that there are some ID fields that you can use for importing.  I havent' had a chance to try all this out yet, but it looks like you can put the ocnstituent ID in there when you add a donor to BidPal for auction or seating.  That should help with importing it in to RE.

Forgive me if this is not an option for you, but over 1,700 organizations use ImportOmatic to import or integrate data from systems just like BidPal. HTH!

AuctionMaestro is brother/sistered with RE.  I know they have a tool for pushing data back and forth between the two data systems, sorry to hear you were doing manual entry. 

Have you checked with BidPal to see what their instructions or suggestions are for pushing data out of their system and into RE?
