Finding your own posts

Options
Does anyone know how you find your own questions that you posed to the Blackbaud Community to see if you received any replies?  I am looking for an online data request form and suggestions for a procedure for handling deceased constituent records with a spouse.

    Hi Barbara,

The easiest way to see your posts is to click on the "my topics" tab on either the RE community homepage or any of the forums pages. It appears next to the "Recent Topics" and "Popular Topics" tabs. If you are looking for a post in a specific category, you can click on that category and then the "My Topics" tab is automatically filtered to only include posts in that category.

Let me know if you are still having trouble. I'm happy to give you a short walk through of these functions in the community.

    Thanks!

    Holly

There's probably a better way but if I click on your photo it shows me pages of your replies, posts, activites.  Am guessing it should work for your own.

smiley Knew I'd seen "my topics" somewhere.  So you're 'in the community', on your 'my community' pages.  What's the easiest way to get to the community home page?  I'm not seeing it if there's a link.

JoAnn, on your My Community Home page, look in the top left under the blue bar that says "My Products." Raiser's Edge 7 should be listed there. Click on the Raiser's Edge 7 link. This will take you to the Raiser's Edge community homepage. You can find the "Recent," "Popular," and "My Topics" tabs on that page in the "What's Trending" block. Those same three tabs (Recent, Popular, and My Topics) continue throughout the forums area. So if you go to Forums Categories page, you will see that same block with three tabs. If you click into one of those categories - like General Discussions - you will see that same block with three tabs, only now the content on the three tabs has been filtered to only show Recent, Popular, and My Topics in General Discussions.

This same format is used across all of our product communities.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
  • Click on the "Reply on Site" link below - it takes you to the Community page. My Community is up top.

Yes and no.  When clicking 'reply on site' for some emails, yes at right of page is RE community menu and then popular tags...  For others when click 'reply on site' the right hand side just has "popular tags in this forum."  This just happened to me for a post in Admin and Config forum.  While this one is in General Discussions and popular tags is a bottom of right side.  ???? Glitch to fix??  Then there's not a quick one click way out.

Thanks for the heads up, JoAnn. I'll do an audit of all the forums reply pages this evening and make sure you're seeing the same options, complete with a quick click option on all the pages. I meet with my team tomorrow morning so if there's something I can't personally fix, we'll make sure it's added to the full team workflow at that point.
  • I'd like to get that information also, Barbara.
