We identified an issue on Friday with the groups and queries that turned out to be a bug. We received the email below last night indicated that this has been fixed/updated. However, this email is unclear to us.

 

"any queries or existing email audiences using these groups will need to be updated to include the new groups"

1) Does this mean that need to change/edit the queries that are based on groups? 2) OR does this mean we just need to rebuild them?

 

3) And if we have a query-based group built with other query-based groups, do we need to edit/change all of the groups within the top query?

Dear Nonprofit Professional,

We previously contacted you to make you aware of the current impact on virtual groups on your site. We are on track to complete all of our annual updates to the virtual groups within Luminate Online by midnight central time tonight.  

During this process we made significant improvements to the accuracy of these groups.  The update required that unique Group IDs associated with virtual groups be updated.  To take advantage of these new groups, any queries or existing email audiences using these groups will need to be updated to include the new groups. Any existing queries that use the previous virtual group IDs will not work properly after this update.
