Coaching emails not supporting videos

Hello,

 

The Teamraiser feature to add video to coaching emails does not seem to be working. Using both HTML embed code and the Component feature have both not worked. In "preview" the video is working but not in emails. Has anyone else had trouble with this?

Luminate Online doesn't really support embedded video in email. While it may work in some email services, it's still not a good practice to embed a video due to all kinds of inconsistencies across all the email services. The video works for you in preview mode because you're simply viewing the email content on a webpage in a browser. That's not the same as viewing it in an email tool. Also, many email services will block emails with an attempted embedded video because it could contain/hide malicious code or viruses. The best practice is still to do a screenshot of the video and have it open in another tab/window.
