Year-end Statements

Does anyone have samples of year-end statements they use to send donors?  Possibly a letter with a receipt at the bottom?

Lisa, are you sending year-end statement just for info or are you sending a year end receipt for gifts you have not previously receipted? (Use caution if your doing both gifts already receipted and some not.  You could easily confuse the records of donors who have previous receipts. )

Personally, I don't see how this would really be much different than letter and receipt you send at any other time - just adding a sentence to say it reflects their giving for the year.  My thank you receipt that I ran for monthly donors at year end is the same as we use for cash donors I just added statement that this is total received in 2014 via monthly electronic fund transfers.  (These gifts were not previously receipted.)

Are you using RE (Reports > Financial Reports > Annual Statement Report) to generate them?  If so text is limited.
