Constituent Codes for a Hospice

 Hi...

I have been using RE for a while and am in a new job with a Hospice.  Having worked primarily in the past with education & historical properties, I am sure the constituent codes for a Hospice will be different.  Is there anyone out there who works with a Hospice and, if so, what constituent codes do you use?  I need to streamline the many that have been set up because, to me and because of my past experience, there are way too many that I would not consider a constituent code.  For example, they put committee member in as constituent codes (I would use attributes for this) as well as groups that would receive a certain mailing or appeal (I would use appeals or attributes for this info)...  So, for someone who is used to using alumni, current student, parent, current parent, board member, volunteer, etc. as constituent codes, I need some help identifying some hospice specific constituent codes.  For example, what would you code a deceased patient?  Or a deceased patient's family member? 

Any help along these lines would be appreciated.  I need to bring suggestions to a staff meeting in a couple of weeks.
