Query for Dashboard Panel - Event Participants Who are Assigned to a Solicitor

I am trying to prepare a customized dashboard panel which shows upcoming event participants by Assigned Solicitor. I want my my gift officers to be able to look at their dashboard to see which of their prospects are attending (or have been invited to) an upcoming event (all upcoming events....not a panel for each event - I am using "Start Date Greater than or equal to Today"). As Relationships is not available in either Event or Participant query fields, I am wondering how to get the Assigned solicitor info, either in Criteria OR Output (either is fine with me). Is anyone else doing, or trying to do, this? Thanks.
