Action Notes auto populate with email message

Hello-

 

Previously when I opened a new note, selected Email as category and used the small email icon to generate a new email to a constituent, it would automatically populate my email into the action note tab. This eliminated the need for copy/paste and ensured every user could view the contact with the constituent.

I was wondering if anyone knew a way to change the settings to allow this field to auto-populate?

    Sounds like solution BB88875 would help:

    Answer

    1. From the Configuration page, click Business Rules

    2. Select Email Options

    3. In the When an email is sent to a constituent... section mark the Automatically create an action for that constituent checkbox
