BBNC problem - Gift notification email missing merge fields, specifically comments possibly more

In my notification email that we have set up for staff to receive when gifts come in, we have the comments merge field included. However, when the email comes through, the comments are blank.



I can see the comments on the attribute when the gift is processed, so I know they are coming through, but they are not in the notification email.



I have not found anything in the KB on this.
