Cannot refresh a merged static query

When attempting to refresh a merged static query, I go to File > Save, but then I do not get either a confirmation OK message, nor do I get a message detailing how many records/results the static query contain.  The Records selection on the Menu Bar remains grayed out.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

    Hi Robert:

     Open the query and click run.  Then hit F5 or click on Records on the top navigation and then refresh.  Hope this helps.
