How do you record/track your Board Members personal giving goals?

Options
Each of our Board members have personal giving goals (not a specific amount) and fundraising "get" goals (assigned a specific amount). The "Get" goals we track by marking the Board member as a solicitor with a "Unspecified - Board Get" assigned goal. Our CEO would like to be able to track the status of each Board member's own personal giving and have that appear in the same report as their "Unspecificed - Board Get" Goal summary. Would you set them up with an "Unspecified - Personal Goal" and assign them solicitor for their own gifts?

How to have it appear in same report, depends on what report you are running. We have a specific solicitor assigned to our board members.  When we run the solicitor analysis report I can include this person and the desired board members.  It's in one report but their personal $ is not included in their prospect assignments.  If you want included that way, you could make them the solicitor for their own gift.  Whether or not you set a personal goal would be up to you - if you don't have specific amount that seems sort of useless.

You could also create a query and export if you wanted.  The solicitor analysis report has always been sufficient for us.
