Donor Advised Fund internal transfer

We are debating how to track gifts to our foundation from Donor Advised Funds administered by our foundation. If it came from a DAF from another foundation we would soft credit the donor advisor, hard credit the foundation. Should we do that the same for our own foundation?  Or are there better ways to handle this. We are concerned about double counting the gift because it would have come in as a gift to the person's DAF and then as a gift to the foundation.
