mailing to organizational contacts at home through mail

Options

When we run mailing lists, we typically will use a function in mail (envelopes or labels) to merge multiple queries and create a single query.  We select to mail to people at home if they come up as individuals and contacts.  We've recently done a pull and about 60 of these are not working.  I've gone in to look and have found what wrong with about half of them: dupes; contact not linked to constituent record; the primary record was pulled and the spouse also had a record and was contact at the org; and a few where a person was the contact for multiple orgs for the most part.  I'm still left with about 30 that I can't figure out.  Total mailing list is 8k, so it's not enough to indicate that the option was not working (and I verified that it was selected), but it's enough that I want to figure it out.

Has anyone else had an issue with this? Any ideas or solutions that I'm missing?

    oohhh - what fun!

Would seem you've checked out a lot of possible issues.

So you have address type of home that you are telling mail function to use, correct?  These records have the send mail box checked for these addresses.  Do they have a seasonal address that might be messing it up?

I think I'd call support on this one - maybe even a screen share to see if they can figure out the cause.

    Hey Nicole!

Thank you for your post. I checked to see if you had created a case yet to determine the root cause of your issue and didn't see one. Would you like me to create a case for you and get it over to an analyst so they can do a screen share with you?

If you have any questions, please let me know.

    Thank you,
