How to Record Auctions Items in Raiser's Edge?

We have our Annual Spring Fundraiser and we need to record our auction items. How do I do this? This would be our first time entering this info in RE. Any help and advice would be great.

     Do you mean items donated for auction?  I add them as in-kind gifts and detail in the notes.  I would also link to the event if you have that module.
