Any Online Express users?

Have any of you implemented Blackbaud Online Express? My organization is thinking about making the switch from NetCommunity to Online Express. What has your experience been? How does it compare with NetCommunity?

    I never did hear from anyone, but we're giving it a try now. So far it's been pretty simple to install. Our communications manager is working on integrating it into the new website. I'm still waiting to see how it works when we launch the new website.

    The one thing we decided not to use it for is emailings. Because of that, we don't have to pay per e-mail address in our DB. We just pay the lowest monthly rate and get the donation form and event registration components.

    Online Express has been working great for us. We do not use the emaiing capability, so I can't comment on that. It has been very straightforward as far as creating donation and event forms and placing those in our WordPress website -- much simpler than NetCommunity was.

    Processing donations and event registrations that come through is pretty much identical to how it was in NetCommunity. I wish there were a simpler way to deal with the distinction between registrants, sponsors, and guests as I process the event registrations, but I wished the same thing of NetC.

    Overall the switch has been good for us, since it allows us to embed forms into our changing web design without paying Blackbaud to re-design the forms (as was in NetC).
