Raiser's Edge users with integrated parking kiosks?

Options

Is anyone in the Raiser's Edge world using a parking payment system that is integrated with their membership database?

We are a land conservation organization with over 100 properties throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, several of which have parking and/or entrance fees. We are looking to implement a system where members could enter their Constit ID (or scan ideally) at some sort of kiosk, the kiosk would confirm they are a member and apply a discount, and then collect the credit card payment. Non-members would use the same kiosk for payment, but also be able to join/renew their membership. Ideally, that information about visitation would link back to their Raiser's Edge record.

Is anyone doing this, or aware of other organizations that are?

Thanks!

     That's pretty interesting.

We don't use anything like this, but since no one else responded...

You could try setting up an BBNC online giving page for parking and then  set up computers or iPads at each location for people to enter their credit card info.  They would get an email confirmation and it would download into RE.  If they were a member, they can log in and get access to a restricted page with discounted parking. You would also be collecting contact info for any non-members.  You would have to have wifi at each location.

If you have a staffed kiosk, your options are different.  You would still need some kind of workstation set up with a membership card scanner - we don't use these so I don't know much about them - to confirm membership status.  And then with BBMS and a USB credit card swiper or BB mobile payment app they could process payment.

That's kind of all I can think of using BB products.  I'm sure if you call BB or some other vendors they will have plenty of option that they can sell you.
