query not working for me?

Options
I am querying on event donors who have given $500 for 3 or more years by using gift amount equals $500 AND appeal description equals (name of appeal that is FY specific).  I have tried to query this several ways and am coming up with 0 results.  I have a donor who has given $500 to appeals TOC11, TOC12 and TOC13.  She at least should show up in results. I have a call into BB but feel this should not be so difficult so figured I'd check in with expert users. We want to identify donors we can bring to higher level.  Any help you can provide is much appreciated.

If you're criteria has addtional years listed like TOC10, TOC09 and you have "AND" selected between criteria you'll only get donors who've given EVERY year listed, no way there to filter out say 3 of 5 years.  (Could be problem casued by any other criteria that you have too.)  Do you have other criteria, too?

http://forums.blackbaud.com/forums/p/22487/673476.aspx#673476  is the most recent forum post that I recall on trying to get this type of info.

Another one from earlier this year, shows a problem documented in knowledgebase that  this is the reason it gives:  "It shows as zero if there is no gift within the most recent time frame, regardless of the date range used."  http://forums.blackbaud.com/forums/p/21683/377083.aspx#377083

From my experience, while it sounds like a pretty straightfowrard query to most users, unfortunately pulling data on consistent donors is not straightforward in RE. [:)]
