I'm new to the community. Where do I start?

1. Fill out your profile. 



Hover over "my profile" and select "Bookmarks."  From there, navigate to your Personal Profile tab and fill out whatever information you'd like to share - title, biography, contact information, etc.  Go to the Avatars tab and upload a picture of yourself!

 



2. Introduce Yourself 



This is our most popular post. Our community is an opportunity to connect with others and learn from each other, so be sure to introduce yourself and start getting to know your fellow members. 



3.  Subscribe to boards or discussions.

 

You can subscribe to any board or individual topic in order to receive an email notification when new information is added.  You may want to do this for Upcoming Events, or one of our user forums.  Just select "Subscribe" from the Options menu on any board or post.



4. Ask a Question, Answer a Question.



Check out our current posts - other users have posted questions and are looking for feedback - share your thoughts.  If you have a question about a post that someone else has shared, click "Reply" and ask it.  The original author will be notified of any response posts, and other users will be checking out your questions and responses as well.  

 

Even if you consider yourself a "beginner," remember, there are no silly questions OR silly answers!  Blackbaud CRM is a huge product, and everyone has unique experiences and areas of expertise.  Sharing your perspective, whether it's a question, answer, or comment, will enrich everyone's experience and understanding!
