Is this group still active at all? Perhaps in another venue, since the activity here seems pretty sparse.

If not, is there any interest in an attempt to revive it?

    I thought the user groups were really helpful. With all the changes happening (Blackbaud, Luminate), it might be useful to have some groups again - however, I'll be more certain how necessary they are after the BBCON in the fall.

    I think when the changes happened that caused the UG to have to be completely run by clients the momentum really collapsed. Now that we have merged with Blackbaud they have a full team that always has someone onsite. I have been in contact with this team and although they can't add anything to 2012 they are definitely interested in determining where they can find synergy in 2013 in the NYC area. As soon as I get any additional info I'll be sure to pass it along.

     

    For now, if you are interested in re-starting the NYC UG I would be more than happy to help you. I suggest we get on a call and discuss if you are interested in championing this group.

    My Convio rep told me that there is a robust NYC user group, but if this is it, that doesn't appear to be the case.  Are there others in NYC using CRM and/or CLO??  I would love the opportunity to meet up with people in NYC to discuss best ways to use these products and learn some shortcuts.

    Hi Mark,

     

    This group was very active at one time but once the champion of this group went silent the group basically died off as no one else stepped in to champion the group. With us now being a part of Blackbaud, their team will be responsible for User Groups throughout the country. This is actually a big win for User Groups. If you are interested in championing a UG I would be happy to pass your info along to that team.
