At the end of our last meeting I asked you all to think about questions you may have as related to Data Integration so we could prepare for our July meeting. Kerri Schultz was first to respond so I am posting here questions below. Let me know what other questions you may have!

Best ways for merging 2 Teamraiser records – how to avoid registrations getting lost?

Data Clean-up – In custom fields, is there a way to pull query and run an assign?

</span>Updating the Shadow file; Does it replace the previous shadow file? How often is it suggested

this is done?

Purging records – it has never been recommended we do this, but could it be done for

people who opted out 1+ or 2+ years ago? If so, how?

  • Hi all -- The Greater Chicago Food Depository has a few data integration questions.

    --Each time we run our DataSync/Connector, C360 creates a new group. We now have more than 500. How can we reduce the number of groups in our system? How, when and for what functions does C360 automatically create new groups?

    --We have a couple questions specific to the Connector (not sure if everyone is using this). Can we review the cross-reference process? Are there documents available to guide us through? We have mostly relied on trial and error.
