Reporting: steps for running the delivery recipient report

Options

Question:

What steps can I navigate through to run the delivery recipient report that we talked about on our May 23 group call?

Answer:

- Log in as admin

- Navigate to Email --> Email Campaigns --> click Campaigns tab --> click "Manage" next to the campaign you'd like to look at --> then click on the "Deliveries" tab

- From the deliveries tab, find the delivery you'd like to run the report for, then click the "Review" link next to that delivery

- When looking at the delivery review screen, you'll see the "Delivery Recipient Report" link in the left hand column.  when you click that link, it will queue the report to run and when it's finished you'll be able to download the results in CSV file

  • Adam,

So, once I have run the report and let's say, as was the case with the one we looked at on the call, that I find that the woman has her email associated with 26 different names in the system. This is clearly because she registered a bunch of people for an event under her email, perhaps because she was the team captain.

So, then, what is the correct action to take? I don't want to mark all those other people do not send. We can't merge them into her record. We need to be sure to keep their individual information/donation history/username and password all active in the system.

I'm not clear on how we help that woman not receive 26 emails in the future.

    Thanks!

My recommendation is to personally reach out to constituents like this, if you can.  Given that they are team captains (most likely) and quite involved, I think it is appropriate to call them or email them directly and tell them you are trying to sort out this problem so they don't receive so many emails.  Hhe/she may have contact information for the friends/family members he/she signed up, and then you could properly update those records.
