Where can I find the HFB campaign opt out form in Convio?

Options

It says ALA in NY instead of Northeast so I have to change it.

  • The opt-out page is standard, but you can change the name of the HFB campaign interest.  To do that, go to Constituent360 > Interests > You should see the interest listed and you can open it up for editing and change the name.

Taylor, I think we just need that to link to the Northeast opt out page. Where can I find that link? Please respond ASAP - this is already out there.

I see - you'll actually need to create the interest.  Our team only created the interests for Charters who put in a request or sent in the request with their edits when we were still doing edits for HFB campaigns.  I believe we did not get a request for your Charter and so that is why it isn't in there.  You can select to create a new interest, however and title it "Opportunities to spread the word about ALA - Northeast".

Per your other message, to find the link to the opt-out page, just click on the Unsubscribe link to one of your messages that went out.  Did you receive one?

Taylor, we started with Convio Go as the Northeast, so I'm not sure why only NY was created and not the Northeast. We haven't been operating as NY with Convio Go, only the Northeast. Can you make an exception and help with this? We are also having issues b/c the campaign was made in both NY and New England so causing a lot of problems where Hartford was not sent to the entire list.

    Please advise.

    Hi Monica,

I did just go in and update the email campaign to be associated with a new interest called "Opportunities to spread the word about the American Lung Association".  This interest is specific to the Center in Luminate Online called "New England Center".

Apologies for any confusion that we've caused here.  The issue is that when the two charters merged to create "Northeast Charter", the two centers in Luminate online are still set up as two separate centers.  You will want to work with ALA national headquarters on making sure that the New York center can be closed down as soon as possible.  Regarding the issue you mention about not all contacts receiving the campaign:  this is related to which contacts are available to you to send the message in your center (the New England Center).  Since going forward you will be using the New England Center as the center for creating and managing your contacts and your content (email, forms, pages, etc) -- my advice here would be to make sure that you've also brought over any and all contacts that you need to communicate with into that center.  That way, you can always just use that one center.

In terms of, why did we build the campaign in both centers:  we had received instructions to build it in both.  I do see now that this is causing confusion, so apologies for that.  Now that I understand a bit better -- my advice is to simply bring over all contacts that you need into the New England center so that they will be a part of the campaign all in one place.  That campaign is now associated with this new interest, so going forward, any contacts that click on the unsubscribe link will have a chance to opt out of "Opportunities to spread the word about ALA"  and/or they can also opt out of all email communications from that page.

    Hope this helps explain,

    Adam
