Exporting Current Solicitor

Has anyone had issues exporting current solicitor for a constituent since the RE upgrade? Prior to the RE 7.94 upgrade, in the Export module, we would export the current constituent solicitor by selecting the Assigned Solicitor, Number of Solicitors equals one, Solicitor Type equals A Primary Solicitor (our internal solicitor type) and End Date equals today's date. It worked like a charm. With RE 7.94, we now have to export multiple Assigned Solicitors and then manually weed out the solicitors with an end date. It is an annoyance to go through this extra step in Excel; but, the real problem is when we export to our custom Crystal Reports. Any suggestions?

I sure wish RE would fix this new bug. I have a work around, but it's created a lot of extra work. Because the end date no longer filters through Export, I have created two distinct solicitor types, one for the whoever is the present solicitor, and one for all who are no longer solicitors, labeled "past."

We did consider setting up "Current Solicitor" or something similar, but decided that solution would not work for us because of the additional steps involved and the number of records that would require to be changed. I am glad to see that we are not the only ones dealing with this.

I have no solution except to say that hopefully v7.95 addresses this issue.

Your process for identifying current active solicitor is exactly what we use and I would hate to loose it. Fortunately for me we are still on 7.93.

We just upgraded to 7.95 and the formula that USED to work perfectly for me, no longer works. I have numerous custom crystal reports that are available for staff to run any time. The way it would pull the current solicitors in the export was to sort on "Date From" as descending, and then set "Start Date" as some future date that hasn't occurred yet. This would force the export to include only Solicitors with a blank "Date To". Now it doesn't work. Those exact same parameters now result in zero solicitors being exported. Has anyone else heard of a fix yet that works for a custom crystal report that is to be run by staff (so we can't have them updating parameters every time they run it).

Ideas anyone? Thanks a bunch!
