Hey everyone!

My name is Jarod Bonino and I am your new Raiser’s Edge Product Manager. I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and let you all know that I’m looking forward to working with you all by answering questions, sharing decisions, and reading feedback about all things Raiser’s Edge.

While I am new to this role, I am not new to Blackbaud. I started my career at Blackbaud as a tester on the Financial Edge team about 10 years ago and I most recently served as the Quality Assurance manager for Raiser’s Edge NXT. While the world of product development and QA is certainly exciting, I am happy to be in a role now where I get to work closer to you and see first-hand how Raiser’s Edge can better enable your missions.

I’m still ramping up in my new role, but it’s already evident to me already that there are a few things I can jump on that relate to this group directly. For starters, I want you to know that I plan on combing through the wealth of ideas you have all posted through the years and, as many of you have suggested, merging duplicates, following up on potential future enhancements, and being as transparent as possible on expectations. By the way, I appreciate you all working with me on that last minute conversion to our new Idea Bank solution. I hated to push such a change so quickly without more up front communication, but I think we’re in a better place now to use and maintain the Idea Bank actively going forward.

I also plan on posting pro-actively about upcoming changes on the blog and staying responsive on threads in this forum that I feel like I can add value to. While I’m certainly not at a loss for things to work on, I want to encourage you all to reach out to me if there is something specific I can help with. All I ask is that you stay patient with me if it takes me a couple days to respond and understand that while I may not always be able to give you the answer you want, I will always be working in a way that I believe is in the best interest of this user base in general. Nothing motivates me more than hearing about the great work that your organizations do all over the world and I very much would like to feel like my work, in some small way, helps enable that.

Hi Jarod!

I realize this is post is over 4 years old, but I'm having problems merging duplicates in NXT. I've done all I can to resolve the issue via BB, but I'm wondering if you might be able to speed the process up a little. Right now, every moment of my day is supposed to be spent deduping in NXT, but it's making more of a mess than we already have. PLEASE help if you can????
