Best canned reports for Annual Fund progress?

Hi all,

We currently use the Campaign Progress Report for our AF weekly reporting.  The problem is there is no way to update the constituencies total numbers solicited.  It pulls all constituents with the code.  Does anyone have suggestions of better reports to use or a work around for this situation?

I don't really feel like the canned reports are giving me what I want.

    We use the number from the query.. So for instance we have 10K plus solicitable alumni but we only solicited 7800 this year.  I want to find a way to plug in the number solicited.  I think I can possibly enter it in appeals.

    You still haven't said how you indicate in RE which constituent records you consider "solicited."

    We run a query based on the alumni we want to solicit, for example everyone who has given in the last 3 years.  That query is the number we consider the solicited alumni.  Is there a better way to track that?

    It sounds like the Query will indicate who you want to solicit, but does it accurately reflect who actually has been solicited as of today?


    How is the solicitation done?  If it is a mass mailing, then I'd record an Appeal on each Constituent's record and code the incoming Gifts to that Appeal.  Then do either Reports > Analytical Reports > Appeals Analysis or Reports > Campaigns, Funds and Appeals Reports > Appeal Performance Analysis to get results.
