E receipts showing wrong amount!!! and multiple donations!!

After doing multiple tests and using the email function receipts, donors have responded indicating a wrong amount and multiple receipts with varying amounts when they only donated once!


I have searched everything to see why this may be. Everything is correct in their file and I am at a loss. Support can't help me until the donors forward me the actual email receipts back to me so they can look.


Has anyone had this happen to them? Am i missing a button click etc? help!

    Have they only donated once 'now' or once ever?  Just wondering if the multiple gifts are picking up all gifts in their history.  This might be solved by more specific filters on gift date/fund if that's the case.


    Hope you find some answers - will be following as we are looking at doing more ereceipts and can certainly learn from other users.
  • Check their Bio2 tab and see if they are configured for "One receipt per gift" or "Consolidated receipts."  If Consolidated they may have had other gifts that hadn't been marked as receipted that were picked up in the most recent receipting process.
  • I will check into the Bio tab. It is the same query used for the paper receipts so there shouldn't be an issue with pulling all their history versus the one gift for the campaign! The fact that someone received such a random amount of $110 for their gift of $100 really baffles me as he never donated $110 ever!


    Sometimes I think RE has a mind of it's own. Causes me so many troubles!!!
