Mobile responsive website/forms

Options
Hi there,

I was just wondering how many of you have your organization's website mobile friendly. How about online forms and emails? Are they mobile friendly? Do you use NetCommunity or something else? I would really appreciate if you can share what you use, how long you have been using them and how you rank them for their user friendly functions.

If you use a third party service to make your forms mobile responsive, could you please share their conatct information?

Thanks,

Brinda

  • Our website is mobile-friendly. We just went through a complete redesign a couple of months ago, and the company that did it was Carnevale Interactive located in Grand Rapids, MI. Our forms and emails are also mobile-friendly and we use Luminate Online.
  • Luminate Online has mobile-responsive forms out of the box now. Depending on what you want you will need to customize the CSS a bit. So if you are comfortable coding a bit, then you can knock this out pretty easy.

We created our own page wrapper(Luminate Online) to be responsive and our site is responsive due to that. This take a little more HTML/CSS know-how than just donation forms.

Additionally, our e-mails are mobile-friendly as well. Open rates for e-mail on mobile eclipsed 50% earlier this year. Have to have mobile-friendly e-mails now-a-days. E-mail is tricky. Every client has their own idiosyncracies and there are a lot of hacks to make them work across all clients. Check out campaignmonitor and Litmus for some great insight on making e-mails work across all clients.

You can always ask here to.

    Happy to help,

    Phil

  • Yes, our website is mobile-friendly.  I’ve been on many webinars where they stay that is a must these days.  We use NetCommunity and our emails and online forms are also mobile-friendly.

    Hi Jenny,

Thanks for your input. We also use NetCommunity and wondering how do we make forms mobile-friendly? Can you please guide me in the right direction?

    Thanks again.

  • Our Netcommunity pages are now mobilefriendly thanks to a rebranding completed for Feb 1st of this year and RESolutions Tech - a Canadian RE consulting company and they were GREAT! I showed the code to a few web designer friends (CSS not Wordpress) and they were all baffled. It seems like Netcommunity code is pretty proprietary. We looked at getting Online Express which is more like IATS which we used prior to BB but it was going to out price getting a consultant to fix it up within 6 months.
  • We too would like some tips or guidance on how to make our NetCommunity pages mobile-friendly  Where dow e even get started?
