I need to get the number of donors and gifts of FY 2015 that didnt give in FY2014, the number  for donors that gave in 2014 but not  2013


can this be done??

    Michele, I think the easiest was to get this info is Reports > Analytical > SYBUNT Report.  It's Sast Year But Unfortunately Not This.

    You could create a query of donors who gave in 2015 (summary gift info easiest here) and then use that query in the SYBUNT (Some Year But...) report with did not give date range for 2014.  Create query of 2014 donors and do same process with did not give date range of 2013.


    The other option would be query of donors for each year and merge the queries with SUB operator.

    I definitely second the recommendaiton for a SYBUNT or LYBUNT report. If this is something you're looking to monitor frequently, you could also look into using the Donor Giving Analysis Dashboard Panel.  Although it won't let you drill down into which donors were repeat/ increased/ decreased/ etc. it gives you a nice concise snapshot comparing one time period to another:
