Best Way to Record Questionnaire Responses within RE

Hi Everyone


I'm looking at possible ways to record the questionnaire responses within RE so that these can be reported on. At the moment we have done a mix of holding the data outwith RE and using survey monkey etc or recording these using attributes.


Ideally we would like all data held within in RE so everything is located in one place and everyone knows where to go to get this however the problem I have with using Attributes is that it leads to a large volume of attributes making the database less user friendly.


I was wondering if anyone else had recorded questionnaire responses in RE and what you found to be being the best solution?

    just what Jennifer suggested I was going to suggest.  Since a survey is an interaction (action) with a constituent, and you want it within RE, it should go in Actions and Action Attributes and Action Notes.

    I also suggest action attributes or constituent attributes if they are general demographic type questions that you would want to access without digging through actions.

    Thank you for your suggestions, it's good to back up my initial thoughts which was to set these up as either a action (if the survey is not annoymous) or as an event and use attributes here.
