Holiday Wish List

I would love for the new RE certification information to be posted soon and to be able to start my RP certification.

I wish someone could quickly teach me how to generate acknowledgement letters to the contact instead of the organisation name! Its driving me crazy!!

I also second, or third, or fourth the wish for RE to produce the reports I actually want rather than what I ask for! 

I wish RE had a built in Audit tool to track all changes made to all aspects of all records!

I wish RE would magically have whatever data I need for requests from staff, without my having to (find it and) enter it first.  Just got my second of the week asking for a report that requires data I am fairly sure was never entered (or not in a way that makes it usable).



And I second the glitter cannons...I want those whenever a particularly complex task (and maybe sometimes just a simple one) is completed...and the Siri feature.

I wish a non-caloric chocolate bar would magically appear each time I successfully create a null/is not null formula in Crystal Reports.

Also I wish a "high five" would auto generate for my RE users when they actually follow database procedures

I wish there were more informal, local users groups so we could meet our nearby colleagues and build a live community, too.

I wish RE could have a Member Spot light in the upper right corner or on the home page that spotlights a different member each day with a one-sentence tagline to remind us we are not alone and in this together.

JoAnn - I totally agree, the IdeaBank is scary ...  At one point, I think Blackbaud did go in and do some consolidation of ideas -- but not sure if that's done regularly.  There are umpteen ways of describing an issue/idea hence it's hard to use search, and with no categorization structure it's very time consuming to figure out what's what.  So I think that just encourages people to enter a new idea without even bothering to search for an already existing one, which then generates more like posts ....

I wish i could think of something light and funny. Does that count?

Actually, I wish i could find time to go see the new Star Wards movie. That's better.
