What is the best way to check in guests with event module, without an iPad?

We have recently added the Event Module and Online Express and have used the new OE Event pages to register guests. Now the event is coming up and we've realized that without an iPad (we have 5 Android tablets) we cannot access the RE:Event app to check guests in. What are the alternatives? Printing out the list? Seems like it was pointless to do everything through OE if we cannot check in guests.

    I apologize for the pain point here! At this time, our RE:Event app is only available for iPads, and is our only option for checking in guests without actually being logged in to an instance of The Raiser's Edge.



    I hope perhaps that someone in our Community will see this and have better ideas!



    I definitely think you could create a list from Raiser's Edge of your participants and use that hard copy to mark people as attended. If you create the list in Export, you can include the Participant Import ID's and then run an import to update the Participant information, or use the ID's to make a query for a global change. That way, you won't have to manually go in to each record and update them after the event.

    Thanks for the info. Based on this, we will no longer be using the Event module in Raiser's Edge and we will no longer use the Online Express event pages, we are taking everything to a different service.
