Hi Everyone,



I am curious to see if there are other non profits: synagogue and church development office and school combinations, with a school and membership community that utilizes Raiser's Edge, Education Edge and Netcommunity:



1) How is your organization structured: IE. Database Administrator (DBA-Exec Office) Data Entry Staff (Accounting) etc.



2) What are your DBA's, Finance Directors, Development, Marketing, Schools roles and involvement with the database/s?

-Does Finance get involved with Global Changes?

-Does the DBA get involved with making decisions on how financial data in RE should be utilized?

-What are your internal policies and best practices on global changes?



3) Currently, in order to bill our members the finance department utilizes pledges as billing, however when development needs to run a report on those who have committed a pledge it is impossible.-- Is there another way to bill members for their memberships with out creating a pledge in RE?

    I'm happy to help with your third question. Do you have RE:Member? If yes, then there is a build in "billing" capability. 



    If not, you could use a combination of actions and attributes to track it, but RE:Member makes it much easier.
