Online Donations at Event

Hi all,

We're hosting an event where nearly 200 guests will be making an online donation at the same time (via NetCommunity) - all in the same room, via wi-fi/3G/LTE/etc. Anyone have any experience doing this? Can BBNC handle this many transactions at once?

Hello Erin,

NetCommunity can handle this many transactions, but if we're making donations from 1 or more computers, we will want to whitelist the IP addresses of those computers so that they are not blacklisted due to any authorization failures.

When you're ready to proceed with that, please visit us in Chat Support or give us a call at 800-468-8996 and provide us with the IP address(es) so that we can make sure they're whitelisted for your event!

Thanks Scott! The expectation was that most individuals would be making donations from their personal mobile devices; however, there was a change of plans and we're going old school - cheques, cash, debit/credit. I'm sure this won't be the last time I'm approached with this request so I'll look further into whitelisting. Much appreciated!
