How do I export a specific set of proposals

Hi all. I want to mark a specific set of proposals as Inactive. I know I need to do this via Import so I have set up a query to find the records and an export so that I can get the proposal import IDs. However, the export is bringing out all proposals for each organisation that has a proposal in the query criteria (not just the specific proposals returned by the query). I've searched KB but can't find anything so would dearly love to know what I am doing wrong. Thanks, Katie.

Hi Katie,

You're not doing anything wrong - sadly there is currently no such thing as a "proposal query", but you may be interested in casting your vote towards adding this feature on the RE Discovery website:

Could you export the proposals you're interested in from Query, cobble together some sort of unique identifier from the constituent ID, date asked, proposal name etc. and then do a vlookup against the proposal export you've already done to get the import ID?

This would be a dream feature.

One workaround is that you can export only Proposals of a certain type when you are in the Export. That might help narrow your field. Plus export out any of the data that you used as your Query criteria. In excel you can create a formula looking for proposals that meet all the criteria and then sort to get back to the Proposals you want to target.
