Set overall quantity allowed for each price item on the form?

I have Gala event and want to setup quantity for each price item for online users to register.  The purpose is to limit the total number of online registrations for each item. When the online registrations match the Qty then the Price item will be removed from the list on the form.  Currently the Registration Form Classic "Max Units" column only limit the quantity user to purchase per Checkout.    Is that any option to achieve our goal.
  • Gold Sponsorship - Qty 2
  • Silver Sponshorhsip - Qty 10
  • Table - Qty 50

    If you use a "new" event registration form (not the "classic"), you can set each pricing level to expire on a certain date, but not based on capacity setting.



    In either part, when a capacity needs to be on the pricing level, I would recommend setting up individual events in RE that are grouped for overall reporting and management.  Each event would therefore have its own capacity for that pricing level.  Then on either the new or classic form, you can display all as selections on the first step of registration.

    Thanks Julie. Our Annual Gala dinner has offered 12 different sponsorship/table/ticket price items. If using the option 2, then I have to create 12 additional RE events.  It is too much work to manage participants in 12 rather than one single Gala event in RE.  I just wish there is an option to add the max quantity for each price item.
