Dashboards not refreshing

I don't use dashboards very often, but I find myself needing them over the past couple of days. My dashboards do not refresh. The information is always old, and when I try to refresh it says "Loading" and then never loads. Any tips? We don't have a large database (12k constituents) so I don't know why it takes so longer or never updates at all.

    It can take a bit, especially if you have a number of dashboards.  Have you tried just refreshing one panel?  (Click the properties icon and then select refresh.)  That should happen much more quickly and tell you if there's a bigger problem.

    When I try to refresh just one panel I get a warning that I can't refresh it because the other panels are loading :/ Even when I just have a couple of panels it does that.

    Are you hosted by Blackbaud, or are you in house on your own server? If you're on your own, are your patches up to date?

    We're hosted. I've just tried to refresh one Donor Giving Analysis panel and the screen has been blank loading for about 10 minutes.

    Do you have more than one Dashboard? And how many panels are on that Dashboard? Can you replicate a New Dashboard with just one Panel?

    I often find that it can take RE a long time to process anything with a lot of summary information.

    That's exactly what I tried, but alas, no luck. I think there's something up with my dashboards, even the single panel dashboards are just showing up as a blank screen.I'm just going to go ahead and call for help to see if there's something wrong with my Raisers Edge.

    Keep us posted, please. FYI and FWIW(?), when I was using a hosted system, dashboards just did not work for me, even just one. When not hosted, dashboards may be a tiny bit pokey, so I don't like to keep too many, but there isn't any hanging or stalling.
