Opt-out/Email Forwarding

Our Head of School forwarded an email he received through Online Express to several people and one of the recipients hit the "Unsubscribe" button which subsequently opted out our Head of School. I have two questions- 1) How can I "opt in" an email address since it was done in error and 2) If an email is forwarded through Online Express will all of the clicks, transactions, opt outs be automatically attributed to the person who forwarded it?

    First - in order to opt-back in, the Head of School must sign-up using the Online Express Sign Up form.  Once this has been processed in Online Express, this email address will no longer be listed as "opted-out."  Second - If an email is forwarded, then yes - all clicks/transactions/Opt-Outs will be attributed to the person that forwarded the email.

  • Is there an auto-response to the opted-out email that notifies them that someone has opted-out on their behalf (even unintentionally)?  So they can cancel that and stay on our lists if this happened?
