    To put it simply, BBNC is a web and email tool with integration to The Raiser's Edge, while BBIS is the web and email tool with integration to Blackbaud CRM.



    Both BBNC and BBIS share the same content management and email platform--enhancements to these areas generally end up in both products. BBIS, however, has a tighter integration with CRM and includes functionality not found in BBNC such as communication/mail preference forms, integrated email signup form and some parts that offer more flexibility like the query results display or record search/display parts that lean heavily on queries built in CRM for merge field options.



    BBNC also has parts that BBIS doesn't have-namely the common form, and soon the newly enhanced event registration form. So while these two products largely look and act the same, under the hood they diverge.
