Third party email API?

Is there any way to connect our Raiser's Edge email database to a third party email service provider, through an API or webhook?

I really like the database/list management tools BB provides, but the email functionality is quite limited and below industry standards (I think it's time for a UI update as well). I see in other threads that improvements are on the way, but in the meantime I'd like to use a service like Campaign Monitor/MailChimp to send emails. It would be really beneficial to be able to sync our database emails with a service like that.

Hey Elmwood,

This sounds like more of an RE idea than a BBNC idea, since you're asking to take BBNC out of the equation and like your queries to some other email program. Am I reading that right?
