Skip links being given a height by NetCommunity

Options
Styles have been applied to menus in a table format but there are "skip links" being added by NetCommunity automatically to the navigation at the beginning. Normally this is given dimensions of 0px by 0px so you don't have to worry about it. Somewhere along the way NetCommunity assigned a height of 15px, I don't know when or where. Unfortunately it doesn't have an id attached to this so I can't get at it from CSS. This is happening on all horizontal navigation bars. Any idea how to fix it?

  • Hey Lindsay,

Can you include a screenshot? Here's what the menus look like to me, and I'm struggling to find anything that looks undesirable.

    Thanks!

  • Thanks Karen,

There are 15 pixels being added to the skip links that should not be there. This is made visible by the 15 pixel gap above the white vertical lines.

It is also causing the white gap on the yellow menu on the bottom as well. My client needs this removed before they can launch but I can't apply CSS to it as it doesn't have and ID and NetCommunity is adding it automatically. I am trying to figure out if something in my code is causing it because it doesn't happen when it is implemented elsewhere: http://mowaa.org/

    Thanks,

  • You can see it where the menu button is still blue where everything else is yellow.
  • Hey Lindsay,

I see it now. If you aren't able to fix it, it may be worth creating a case. In support we're experts in the product, not design, but we have some channels we can try to see if it's possible for Blackbaud to fix it.

    Thanks!

  • Thanks Karen, where would I create a case?
  • Hey Lindsay,

    Here's a link to case central https://www.blackbaud.com/casecentral/

    Thanks!
