What is the relationship between net community & raiser's edge?

I am new to both raiser's edge and net community, having inherited the awesome task of coordinating between the two systems. We are an organization with many appeals, some different campaigns, and we raise several million per year. To my question though....



I have reviewed both raiser's edge, the core product/database our organization uses, and this online additional module called net community, and there seems to be no direct relationship between the two as far as setting up donation pages is concerned. What I mean by that is in raiser's edge we have key concepts & structure revolving around campaigns, funds and appeals. In net community there are no campaigns, funds and appeals.....



Obviously I must be missing a key part of the documentation which bridges clearly and cleanly between the 2 products so will someone, ANYone, please point me in the right direction?

    Fund = Designation


    Appeal = Source


    Campaign, you're right about. There's no campaigns in NetCommunity.



    Now that you know that please take a second look at editing a donation form. It should make more sense now.
